An Egyptian cat slot with 117,649 ways to win
Book of Cats MEGAWAYS grid explained. Book of Cats MEGAWAYS takes you into an ancient Egyptian temple filled with sacred cats and golden symbols. Released in 2022, it runs on a 6-reel grid where each reel grows from 2 to 7 symbols tall on every spin, creating up to 117,649 ways to win. Wins form left to right across adjacent reels when you land 3 or more matching symbols. The high volatility means payouts come less often but can be much bigger when they do.
Choose your stake and volatility. This slot suits players who can handle longer dry spells between wins and enjoy chasing bigger payouts. The starting bet of NZ$0.10 lets you test the game on a small budget, while the maximum of NZ$25 opens the door to wins up to NZ$250,000 if fortune strikes. The theme and Egyptian symbols appeal to players drawn to ancient settings, though the Megaways mechanic is what drives each round.
What triggers the bonus round. Free Spins shape the game most. Land 3 or more Golden Book scatters anywhere to trigger 12 spins, retriggerable for 12 more. During this round, one paying symbol becomes the Expanding symbol and fills its entire reel when it lands, even across gaps. Each Book that lands carries a random multiplier of x2, x3, x5 or x10 on that spin's win. Multiple Books on one spin add their multipliers together, not multiply them.

Trigger and expand during free spins. Land 3 or more Golden Book scatters anywhere to start 12 free spins. One paying symbol per round randomly becomes the Expanding symbol, filling its entire reel on a pay. Each Book landing carries a random x2, x3, x5 or x10 multiplier; multiple Books on one spin have their multipliers added together.
Buy your way into free spins. Purchase this feature for 100x your total bet on any spin. Your next spin is guaranteed to land 3 or more scatters and award free spins. The round's Expanding symbol can be any paying symbol, including the lower-value royals, giving you variety in which symbol drives the big wins.
Guaranteed high symbol purchase. Spend 150x your total bet to guarantee the Expanding symbol is one of the four high-value symbols: Bastet, the cat-headed deity, the purple mask idol or the blue ankh scepter. This ensures your expanding reel focuses on the symbols with the largest payouts during the bonus round.
Base game Megaways mechanics. The standard game runs across 6 reels that vary from 2 to 7 symbols tall, creating up to 117,649 ways to win on each spin. Wins form on adjacent reels from left to right, matching 3 or more symbols in any run length. Only the highest combination per way pays; wins across different ways are added together.

What can't you know about this slot in advance?
When will free spins arrive? The Golden Book scatters land randomly during base game spins. You might trigger free spins on your next go or after many rounds. No pattern tells you when a bonus round is coming.
One day versus the long run. Your result in any session depends on random spins, not on the 97.07% RTP. You could win more than average or less. Each session stands alone, regardless of what the RTP promises over time.
How rare is the biggest payout? Reaching the x10,000 maximum win is extraordinarily rare. That ceiling exists, but you're far more likely to see smaller payouts. The top prize sits beyond what most players will ever land.
